XSchools.in

Thirty-five years beside teachers, shaping better teaching.

XSchools.in was not imagined in an office. It grew out of 35 years of walking into schools, sitting with teachers, and listening to principals across South India. Everything we build starts with one question: what does a teacher, or a school, need to grow?

  1. Chalk and blackboardWe began with teachers, textbooks and the daily rhythm of the classroom.
  2. A book in every bagLearning materials reached schools in every town and village we served.
  3. The smart classroomProjectors, panels and digital content arrived, and teachers needed support to use them well.
  4. NEP 2020 and NCF 2023A new vision for how India learns: competencies, skills and every child's mother tongue.
  5. XSchools.in todayOne connected home for teachers, schools, parents and education providers.

The tools changed. The teacher at the front of the room never stopped mattering.

Connected to the Indian classroom

For over three decades, our founder's work in school education has meant visiting classrooms, staff rooms and principals' offices week after week, working beside the people who teach. That closeness taught us something no survey can: the real needs of teachers and schools are practical, specific and urgent.

A young teacher in a small town wants a good school that values her. A principal wants a committed teacher before the term begins. A parent wants to know their child is learning, not just passing. XSchools.in exists to answer those needs, simply and with respect.

  • 35 yearsin Indian school education
  • Schools across South Indiaconnected with us through decades of work
  • 4 portalsfor teachers, schools, parents and education providers

What teachers and schools told us

We did not guess. These are the things we heard again and again, in every district.

Teachers asked for

  • Genuine jobs in good schools, without paying anyone to get them
  • A professional résumé that shows their real work
  • Ready teaching material for NEP-based classrooms
  • Training that fits around a full teaching day
  • Respect for their time, their ideas and their language

Schools asked for

  • Qualified, committed teachers, found quickly
  • A way to show teachers why their school is worth joining
  • Help moving from syllabus completion to competency-based learning
  • Planning tools for timetables, lessons and assessment
  • Trusted vendors and service providers in one place

So we built one connected platform. Teachers build their profile and résumé, currently free of charge, and are matched to jobs by subject, level and location. Schools post vacancies, see matching teachers and tell them, in their own words, why their school is a good place to grow.

NEP 2020 and NCF 2023, side by side

The National Education Policy 2020 sets the direction. The National Curriculum Framework for School Education 2023 turns it into classroom practice. We keep both open on the same desk, and build tools that help teachers and schools act on them.

How we help teachers, and what we promise schools

Teachers keep learning with us

A teacher's growth does not stop on the day she is hired. Our team feeds teachers fresh knowledge and the latest classroom technology, every week, through many sources:

  • The XSchools Bulletin, every Tuesday, with the week's news, board updates and activities to try in class
  • Digibooks from Teacher's Knowledge Pick and the PRERANA series, on the challenges teachers face every day
  • Classroom tools: Little Roots for KG, Saha for lesson plans and Dhost for Classes 9–12
  • NEP 2020 and NCF 2023 guidance, written for the classroom rather than the circular
  • Skills that schools now ask for, from AI and coding to competency-based assessment

Schools, leave the worry about teacher skills to us

You run the school. We will take care of keeping your teachers informed and up to date. Our committed team works every week so that the teachers you meet on XSchools.in know today's policies, today's methods and today's technology.

Our mission is simple. When you recruit from XSchools.in, you meet dedicated, well-informed teachers.

What more could a school ask for?

What we promise

Technology should make a good teacher stronger. It should never try to replace one.

Augment, never replace

Our AI suggests; the teacher decides. Every lesson plan, résumé line and question stays in the teacher's hands.

Dignity for every teacher

No teacher should ever pay anyone to get a job. Contact details stay private until the teacher chooses to apply. Her own work always carries her name.

Rooted in India

Built for Indian boards, Indian languages and Indian classrooms, from a KG room in a small town to a Class 12 lab in a city.
